The Great Quilt Project is making a difference, Several Cooperatives have been formed by women in their communities in order to promote the life changing work being created here. The Great Quilt Projects model links the people of these communities who wish to make a good living with quilting teachers and quilting companies who wish to help teach and supply these fine Artisans.

Our Story...

The Great Quilt Project provides training, education, marketing and financial assistance from our sponsors to areas of the globe that would never have this kind of opportunity without its help. This proven match-up of ideas and money with hard working and dedicated workers found in these communities provides year round employment opportunities, where before there were none. It has provided an increase in the quality of life for these good people and their extended families.
Our people are happy & grateful for the chance you give them to make a difference in their community & their lives

Project Overview

The Goal of the Great Quilt project is to teach the local participants to manage their own cooperatives in each of their own communities. We hope to increase this impact in the months and years ahead, and with the help of all our clients around the world we have been growing for over a decade.

The Great Quilt Project’s Mission Statement

It is our goal to make this world a better place because we are here. We provide training & opportunities to those who wish to participate in this great work and see the benefits of this work in their own families’ lives.
We started this project in 2006, and it has grown to be active on three continents. Our sponsors provide the teaching, sourcing, marketing and financial support needed to make this happen.
